I shot this with a Nikon Z7 through an 800/5.6 with the matched 1.25x TC, giving an EFL of 1000mm, stopped down to f/8. Two second exposure at ISO 800. It was all very tenuously mounted on an iOptron SkyGuider Pro. Way too much flexure and very gusty winds didn’t help. Less than 5% were even close to usable.
My telescope’s computer malfunctioned last night (or maybe I did…) so I had to jump to plan B and use the Z7+800mm, which I had originally planned to use for a time lapse. 🙁
